JUST IN: Aigboboh, Pleads With Electorate For Massive Votes
Share this:

Ahead of Saturday’s local government election in Edo State, the state Deputy Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Sylvester Aigboboh, has called on all eligible voters across the 18 Local Government Areas of Edo State to come out en masse and participate in the Chairmanship and Councillorship elections.

According to Aigboboh in a statement, as a committed party leader and an advocate of peace, unity, and sustainable development, I wish to emphasise that the council election presents another opportunity for the people of Edo State to reaffirm their confidence in the leadership of the APC and the developmental vision of the administration.

Aigboboh passionately appealed to all APC members, supporters, and the entire electorate to conduct themselves peacefully before, during, and after the election while exercising their constitutional right to vote for all APC Chairmanship and Councillorship candidates.

Aigboboh, who is also the State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, and popularly known for his firm belief that the party is supreme,” noted that every vote cast for the APC is a vote for grassroots development, good governance, and the continued progress of Edo State.

He further noted that overwhelming support for the APC in the local government election will further demonstrate the unwavering confidence of Edo people in the administration of the Executive Governor of Edo State, Sen. Monday Okpebholo, popularly known as “One Hour, One Project,” whose developmental strides continue to transform communities across the state.

“A resounding victory for the APC will strengthen the party’s resolve as it works towards delivering its ambitious target of 2.5 million votes in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Renewed Hope Agenda during the 2027 general election.

“Let us come out in large numbers and prove our commitment to the APC and the Renewed Hope Agenda. Let us demonstrate our love for our hardworking Governor and our great President through our votes. Together, we will continue to build a stronger, more united, and more prosperous Edo State”, he said.

Hon. Aigboboh expressed confidence in the loyalty, unity, and determination of APC faithful across Edo State, urging them to remain steadfast and rally behind all APC candidates.

He maintained that the party’s Chairmanship and Councillorship candidates have pledged to align themselves with Governor Monday Okpebholo’s developmental agenda to ensure that the dividends of democracy reach every ward and community.

He concluded by encouraging all party members to uphold the spirit of unity, peace, and togetherness, stressing that collective support for APC candidates will guarantee continued progress, inclusive governance, and accelerated development across Edo State.
