The National Economic Council (NEC), presided over by Vice President Kashim Shettima, has endorsed a 90-day economic action plan aimed at reducing the cost of living, improving food affordability and delivering immediate relief to Nigerians.
The plan prioritises practical interventions to ease household financial pressures, improve access to affordable food and accelerate projects capable of producing quick benefits for citizens.
The council also urged state governments to take action to reduce transport fares, as the Federal Government seeks to translate ongoing economic reforms into tangible improvements in the living conditions of Nigerians.
