Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 election, has called for stronger partnerships between Europe and Africa to promote good governance, democracy and economic development.
Obi emphasised the need for deeper cooperation between both continents, stressing that democratic institutions, accountable leadership and sustainable economic policies are essential to Nigeria’s development and Africa’s progress.
He also called for stronger European Union support for democracy and reforms across Africa, highlighting the importance of international partnerships in advancing good governance, economic growth and democratic stability.
