Omabala Union Convenes Stakeholders Meeting With Right Motives
Share this:

The socio-cultural organization, Omabala Union, convened a stakeholders meeting at the Recreation Club, Umueri, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen unity and deepen community engagement across its constituent communities.

The meeting brought together key leaders and representatives to deliberate on preparations for the forthcoming Omambala Day celebration, reinforcing the Union’s commitment to inclusiveness, cultural pride, and collective participation.

Addressing the stakeholders, Dr Obidigbo emphasized that to foster unity amongst our various peoples and communities, Omabala Union identified a cultural fiesta as a plausible rallying point, given its unique advantage of promoting the celebration of diverse traditions on a common stage. He reaffirmed the Union’s resolution to celebrate Omambala Day annually, noting that the inaugural edition held on October 11, 2025, marked a significant milestone, with a promise that the 2026 edition would be bigger, more inclusive, and more entertaining.

Importantly, stakeholders present expressed satisfaction with the strong bond and cultural unity Omabala Union continues to build within and around the Omabala zone, describing the initiative as a true reflection of shared identity and collective progress.
