Hon. Peter Aniekwe, Member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, congratulated the people of Anambra State on the occasion of their 34th anniversary. He noted that on August 27, 1991, the state had its new capital in Awka, separating from the old capital at Enugu, and began its journey as a new entity.

Hon. Aniekwe particularly commended the people of Anambra East and Anambra West Local Government Area for their unique unity of purpose, bonds of love, and friendship over the years. As a House of Representatives member, he acknowledged the resilience and determination of the people of Anambra State, noting that they had made the state a beacon of hope and opportunity.

On behalf of the good people of Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, and in synergy with his leaders and the Labour Party faithful, Hon. Aniekwe recommitted to building a brighter future for the state. He pledged to continue working tirelessly to enact laws that would address the needs of the people, promote economic growth, and uphold the principles of justice and equality.
