Guinness World Record holder and food influencer, Hilda Baci, has officially received the gigantic cooking pot set to be used for her much-anticipated attempt at preparing the world’s biggest pot of jollof rice.

The massive red pot, fabricated in Gbagada, Lagos, boasts an astonishing 22,619-litre capacity. It was transported overnight under tight security to the Eko Hotel, the venue of the record-breaking event. Videos circulating online show the pot branded with Gino, one of the project sponsors, arriving at the location.

Confirming the delivery in a post on Instagram, Hilda expressed excitement: “At 4am this morning our pot was safely transported from Gbagada where it was fabricated to Eko Hotel where the event is taking place. I’m still pinching myself—this is actually happening in less than 24 hours.”
