In a significant move to enhance the living conditions of top government officials, Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has commissioned eight new units of four-bedroom duplexes with attached Boys’ Quarters in the Commissioners’ Quarters, Asaba.
The inauguration ceremony, performed by the Asagba of Asaba, Obi Prof. Epiphany Azinge (SAN), underscores the administration’s commitment to providing a conducive environment for its officials to deliver quality service to the people.
This development brings the total number of residential units in the Commissioners’ Quarters to 30, up from 22 when the current administration took office.
During the ceremony, Governor Oborevwori also addressed a false rumor circulating about the dissolution of the State Executive Council, clarifying that only underperforming Commissioners would be replaced, not the entire Council.
