Senator Adams Oshiomhole has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for continuing to support people and maintain political relevance since leaving office as governor of Lagos State in 2007. Oshiomhole made the remarks while discussing Tinubu’s political influence and his longstanding relationships with individuals across the country.
According to a report based on an interview published by SYMFONI TV on Thursday, October 8, 2026, the former Edo State governor challenged Nigerians to name another politician who has continued investing in and supporting people after leaving public office. He presented Tinubu’s record of assistance to others as an example of his continued involvement in people’s lives beyond his tenure as governor.
Oshiomhole also explained that Tinubu listens to people’s complaints and makes efforts to address their concerns. He added that when Tinubu cannot personally resolve an issue, he often delegates someone to provide assistance. His comments highlighted what he described as Tinubu’s continued commitment to helping people years after leaving the Lagos governorship.
