Aniekwe Salutes the Inspiring Spirit of Women Across Nigeria

In celebration of the 2026 International Women’s Day, the Honourable Member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, Hon. Peter Aniekwe, has paid glowing tribute to women across the constituency and Nigeria, praising their resilience, strength, and immeasurable contributions to society.

In his goodwill message marking the global celebration, Hon. Aniekwe described women as the backbone of families, communities, and national development, noting that their dedication and sacrifices continue to shape a better future for generations.

Highlighting this year’s theme, “Give to Gain,” the lawmaker emphasized that empowering women through education, opportunities, and support remains one of the most effective pathways to sustainable development.

According to him, the women of Anambra East and West have consistently demonstrated courage, enterprise, and leadership in various sectors, contributing significantly to economic growth, social stability, and community advancement.
