Aniekwe Intensifies Efforts on NADDC Training to Constituents
Share this:

The Member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, Hon. Peter Aniekwe, has continued to intensify efforts to attract Federal Government intervention aimed at expanding automotive and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) conversion training for his constituents.

On 11th August 2025, the lawmaker engaged the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) at its headquarters, where he formally appealed for federal support in training and equipping youths, artisans, and vehicle owners within the constituency.

He stressed that effective representation must translate into practical opportunities that improve livelihoods and stimulate local economic growth.

Hon. Aniekwe highlighted the agrarian nature of his constituency, noting that many residents depend on vehicles for their daily activities. He also pointed out that Anambra State is an oil-producing state with vast gas resources, much of which comes from his constituency, making it strategic for CNG-related skills development and clean energy transition.

Responding, NADDC officials reaffirmed the Council’s commitment to nationwide automotive development and acknowledged Anambra State’s strong footprint in Nigeria’s automotive industry.

The Director-General, Mr. Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin, assured that plans were being accelerated to expand training opportunities in Anambra State, particularly within Anambra East and West Federal Constituency.

The engagement ended with a renewed commitment to collaboration, as Hon. Aniekwe reaffirmed his determination to pursue policies, partnerships, and federal interventions that will deliver tangible dividends of democracy to his people.
