Turkish authorities have launched a wide-ranging investigation into alleged betting-related offences involving more than 1,000 professional footballers across multiple divisions.
According to reports, the probe covers:
27 players in the top flight (Süper Lig)
77 players in the first division
282 in the second division

This represents one of the largest betting investigations in European football history, raising serious questions about match integrity and the growing influence of illegal gambling networks within the sport.
