A New Dawn for Onitsha North Constituency 1: Mrs. Azuka’s Plea for Support
Share this:

My name is Mrs Justina Amaka Azuka, a proud daughter of Anambra State. I am contesting to continue my husband’s legacy in the state house of Assembly.

I am deeply honored to seek your support as I step forward to serve the good people of Onitsha North Constituency 1, not just as a politician, but as a wife, a mother, and, most importantly, a woman committed to genuine service. Motivated by an innate passion for public service and social welfare, I graduated with a major in Public Administration.

Long before marriage and public life, I ventured into building a career in business and human capital development, which formed the basis of my understanding of the real struggles of everyday Nigerians, including women, men, widows, and vulnerable families who often feel unseen and unheard.

My journey into politics has never been about personal ambition; rather, it has always been about service. My late husband recognized this calling, supported it wholeheartedly, and encouraged me to pursue it.

Although he is no longer here to walk this path with me, I carry his love, memory, and values with every step I take. Service has always been my life’s mission, long before I became a wife and mother, or even imagined running for public office.

Through my foundation, I have sponsored education for over 50 vulnerable children, ensuring they are taken off the streets and given a chance at a better future. We have graduated 27 young women from fashion school, trained 46 others in culinary arts and crafts, and feed over 380 destitute individuals annually.

I believe that education, skills training, and food are lifelines that no child or family should be denied due to financial hardship. I stand before you not as a career politician, but as a daughter of this soil who refuses to turn away when her people are in need. I firmly believe that when women lead, communities heal.

True representation is not just about occupying a seat; it’s about being a voice for the voiceless, a defender of the forgotten, and an advocate for the underrepresented.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving as President of the Women’s Coalition for Equity and Assistant Project Manager for the United Africa Initiative in Nigeria, among other leadership roles.

These experiences have prepared me to deliver impactful and compassionate leadership. With God’s grace and your support, I believe a New Dawn is possible for Onitsha North Constituency 1 – a future where compassion meets action, and leadership means true service, continuing the legacy of my late husband and building upon it for generations to come.

Let’s build that future together, ndị nne ibem, ndị di m na ụmụnne m. Please come out in mass on August 16th and vote for ADC (Ebe esere aka abuo na ekwe n’aka) so we can achieve great things.

Justice Azuka’s legacy will live on through our efforts.

Vote for me, and let’s make Onitsha North Constituency 1 great.
