Hon. Peter Udeogalanya Aniekwe, Member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency in the 10th Assembly and NDC Candidate for 2027, paid a condolence visit to Chief Hilary Onochie Obigwe, former Accountant General of Anambra State, during Ime Ito, following the passing of his beloved mother, Late Iyom Paulina Onuegbune Obigwe.
Hon. Aniekwe expressed his heartfelt condolences to Chief Obigwe, his siblings and the entire Obigwe family, praying for God’s strength, comfort and peace during this difficult period. He described the late matriarch as a woman of faith, grace and love whose values and legacy will remain an enduring source of inspiration to her family and community.
The visit reflected MACPEE’s solidarity with the Obigwe family at a time of grief. Hon. Aniekwe prayed for the peaceful repose of Late Iyom Paulina’s soul and asked God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss, while preserving the beautiful memories and legacy she left behind.
