Hon. Peter Aniekwe, Member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, attended the Nando United Brothers Association (NUBA) end-of-year celebration, emphasizing the importance of responsible leadership and good governance in Nando. He commended NUBA for promoting unity, accountability, and community development, and expressed his readiness to partner with the association to advance people-focused initiatives.
Hon. Aniekwe highlighted key interventions in Nando, including WAEC scholarship support and laptops for Community Secondary School, installation of over 40 streetlights, and provision of a modern borehole for clean water. He appreciated NUBA’s efforts in strengthening grassroots development and assured the community of increased governance presence.
The event was attended by Senator Tony Nwoye, representing Anambra North Senatorial Zone, who pledged continued collaboration to attract development and legislative attention to Nando. The celebration ended on a note of unity, partnership, and collective resolve to deepen good governance and sustainable progress in Nando.
