The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expelled two of its prominent figures in Gombe State, Khamisu Mailantarki and Usman Garry, over alleged anti-party activities. The decision marks a major disciplinary move by the party as it seeks to address internal disagreements and enforce party loyalty.
The expulsion reportedly follows allegations that the two leaders engaged in activities considered contrary to the interests and principles of the PDP. Their actions were said to have attracted the attention of the party leadership, prompting disciplinary action.
The development is expected to generate further reactions within the PDP in Gombe State, particularly amid ongoing efforts to strengthen party unity and reposition the party ahead of future political engagements.
