In a surprising move, Senator Abdul Ningi has outrightly rejected President Tinubu’s proposal for a $21 billion foreign loan, even after the Senate gave it the green light. His main concern? A serious lack of transparency and accountability.

Ningi, known for his strong stance on fiscal responsibility, expressed that without clear information on how these loans will be used, Nigeria’s debt situation could worsen, further deepening the economic crisis.

 “We can’t keep borrowing without knowing the details. Nigerians have a right to understand where this money is going,” he emphasized..
