She urged citizens to safeguard the credibility of the electoral process.
During the interview, Yesufu emphasized the importance of vigilance throughout all stages of the election—before, during, and after voting—stating that the outcome will shape the country’s path forward.
She reiterated a message she has consistently shared: “Let me repeat what I’ve said before—the 2027 election will be war.” Clarifying her statement, she explained it referred not to violence, but to a resolute civic effort to uphold democracy. She encouraged Nigerians to stand firm in their beliefs and ensure every valid vote is counted.
Yesufu stressed that no citizen should remain disengaged, noting that politics inevitably impacts everyone, regardless of individual interest.
