South East Youths Get Assurance: Deputy Speaker Pledges Inclusiveness and Job Opportunities

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representative Hon Benjamin O. Kalu has assured the Millions of South East Youths that there would be Inclusiveness and facilitating more jobs for them.

He disclosed this in an interactive section with selected Youths in the South East in Abuja which was spear headed by Concerned Youths for Good Governance, Advocate for Sustainable Development and Admin of Imo Youths Page.

He said that since he assumed into power over 1,000 South East Youths have been empowered through Civil Service jobs, Private Jobs and through Skill Acquisition.

He said that lots of qualified South Eastern youths would be employed during the current Immigration, Civil Defence, Prison and Fire service recruitment going on. He said that the FG have made studies easy for students especially the introduction of loans for Students by the Tinubu led government.

The Admin of Imo State Youths thanked him and pleased that more efforts should be made for creation of jobs for the teeming youths from the South East extraction. He also pleaded that he should ensure South East Youths are not sidelined during the final shortlist in the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board recruitment process.

Mr Chinedu who headed the team of South East for food governance thanked the Deputy Speaker for granting them an audience and advised him to do more.
