Senator representing Anambra North Senatorial District, Senator Dr Tony Nwoye, has commended the traditional ruler of Ifite-Anam Kingdom, Enugu-Ezike, His Royal Highness, Igwe Sunday Udoji Ozoemena (Igwe Oranyelu), on the successful celebration of his maiden Ofala festival. The event, which drew dignitaries and indigenes from far and near, marked a significant cultural milestone in the history of Ifite-Anam Kingdom, showcasing unity, tradition, and the enduring heritage of the people.
In a goodwill message, Senator Nwoye praised Igwe Udoji’s exemplary leadership and his long-standing contributions to the growth and wellbeing of the community, even before his ascension to the throne. He noted that the monarch has demonstrated commitment to peace, development, and the welfare of his people, adding that his leadership over the past year has further strengthened the bonds within Ifite-Anam and the wider Anam area.
The Senator, who graced the occasion with his presence, extended heartfelt felicitations on behalf of his family and the good people of Anambra North Senatorial District. He wished the monarch continued wisdom, peace, and a prosperous reign, while encouraging the people of Ifite-Anam to continue supporting the traditional institution in its efforts to promote development and preserve their rich cultural heritage.
