ADC Spokesperson Said the Party is Ready to End Political Prisoner
Share this:

Bolaji Abdullahi, spokesperson of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition, has declared that the party will take action over what it describes as the political persecution of former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai.

Abdullahi made the statement during an interview on SYMFONI TV, where he expressed the coalition’s position on the ongoing situation involving El-Rufai and signaled a more assertive response from the party.

According to him, the ADC has collectively concluded that the circumstances surrounding El-Rufai’s case point to political targeting by the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

While he did not provide specific details on the steps the coalition intends to take, his remarks suggest that the ADC may explore political, legal, or advocacy measures to challenge what it perceives as an unjust situation.

The statement marks a shift from earlier expressions of concern to a more decisive posture, indicating that the issue could become a focal point of the coalition’s broader political engagement. Observers say this could further heighten tensions between opposition groups and the federal government.
