The Member Representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Peter Aniekwe, popularly known as Macpee, has congratulated Senator Tony Nwoye on his emergence as the Senate Minority Whip, describing it as a victory for democracy and effective representation.
Speaking to Lazeera News, Hon. Aniekwe noted that Senator Nwoye’s elevation reflects confidence in his leadership capacity, legislative experience, and commitment to national service.
He added that the development is a positive step for strengthening democratic institutions and ensuring a more vibrant and accountable legislative process.
According to him, he said
“The new role positions Senator Nwoye to contribute even more meaningfully to national discourse, while also reinforcing the voice of the minority in advancing good governance and people-oriented policies”.
He concluded by encouraging the people of Anambra North to continue supporting the progress Senator Nwoye is attracting back home.
