A nursing mother and her child were abducted by unknown gunmen in Ondo State’s Akoko South West Local Government Area. The incident occurred on Saturday at the Supare/Ajegunle axis, and the police have confirmed the abduction.

DSP Abayomi Jimoh, the police spokesperson, stated that efforts are underway to rescue the victims, with security apparatus deployed to the area. He reiterated the command’s commitment to safeguarding lives and property in the state.

The victim, wife of a popular furniture maker, was taken from her residence on Saturday night along with her child. The police are working to rescue them alive and unhurt.
