Lere Olayinka vs. Rufai Oseni on Social Media
Share this:

A war of words erupted on Facebook between Lere Olayinka, media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and Arise TV host, Rufai Oseni, following allegations of questionable land allocations in Abuja.

The confrontation started after Rufai shared a document on his page alleging that plots of land were allocated to Wike’s children and relatives. He queried Olayinka’s silence on the matter, insisting the spokesman should address the allegations and clear the air.

In a sharp response, Olayinka dismissed the journalist, saying he would not “react to someone who should be producing documentaries on animals.” He further mocked Rufai, questioning his authority to offer any platform.

Unfazed, Rufai urged him to respond to the substance of the claims, stressing that “the world is watching.”
