Share this:

A member of the House of Representatives for Yagba East/Yagba West/Mopamuro Federal Constituency in Kogi State, Leke Abejide has stated that President Bola Tinubu would win a significant number of states in Nigeria if former President Goodluck Jonathan were to run against him in the 2027 presidential election.

Abejide said this during an interview on the Mic On podcast.

He further asserted that Tinubu would win over 32 states, losing only in Anambra and Ebonyi.

Former President Jonathan, who served one term before his defeat in 2015, has been the subject of speculation regarding a potential run for the presidency in 2027.
