Share this:

Associate Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, Pastor Toluwani Odukoya, has spoken publicly for the first time about her separation from her husband, Olumide Ijogun.

The couple, who got married in 2012, share three children; two daughters and a son.

In a candid interview on her YouTube series “Truthtable”, which was published on Thursday, the 40-year-old gospel minister revealed that her separation was due to circumstances “beyond her control.”

“I’m separated. Most of you don’t know that I’m separated, and that’s actually defined or shaped my life,” she said.

“It was circumstances beyond my control, but sometimes when you get into a marriage, you don’t get into it to leave it. In fact, it’s a death in a way when your marriage is over — it’s a death.”

Pastor Tolu, who is the daughter of the late pastors Taiwo and Bimbo Odukoya, added that while the experience was painful, it also became a turning point that deepened her faith and personal growth.
