Paul Pogba will not make his long-awaited return to competitive football until after the October international break, AS Monaco head coach Adi Hütter has revealed.
The French midfielder, who has been sidelined while working on his recovery, is expected to be fully available for selection once league action resumes next month.
Speaking to reporters, Hütter expressed admiration for Pogba’s dedication during his rehabilitation. “We’ll have him after this break. He’s doing well. I’m not surprised but impressed by what he does every day in his reconditioning.
He’s a very professional player,” the coach said. Pogba’s return is highly anticipated as Monaco aim to strengthen their midfield options heading into a busy run of fixtures.
