World-renowned designer Giorgio Armani has passed away at the age of 91, marking the end of an era in global fashion.
Born in 1934 in Piacenza, Armani rose from humble beginnings in window dressing to revolutionise tailoring with his minimalist, elegant style. His influence extended far beyond clothing, building a global luxury empire that included fragrances, accessories, cosmetics, interior design, sports sponsorships, and even luxury hotels.
In a tribute on the official Armani Instagram page, the brand revealed that the fashion icon worked tirelessly until his final days. “He was indefatigable to the end,” the statement read. Armani leaves behind a legacy of timeless sophistication that reshaped the world of fashion.
