The Honourable Member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency and NDC Candidate for Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, Hon. Peter Aniekwe, joins young Nigerians at home and across the world to celebrate International Youth Day 2026. He especially celebrates the vibrant youths of Anambra East and West, whose creativity, resilience, ideas and determination continue to give hope for a brighter future.
Speaking to Lazeeranews, Hon. Aniekwe noted that empowering young people is not just about supporting them today, but preparing them to become confident leaders and contributors tomorrow. He has continued to support young people across Anambra East and West through initiatives including digital skills development, provision of laptops and startup support, educational assistance, scholarships, mentorship and opportunities that encourage innovation and self-reliance.
Importantly, for Hon. Aniekwe, the message is clear: our youths deserve opportunities, not empty promises. He therefore reaffirmed his commitment to supporting programmes that will help young people acquire skills, pursue their dreams and participate meaningfully in the development of Anambra East and West.
