Minister of Works, David Umahi, has described the 2023 election, in which President Bola Tinubu lost the Southeast, as an accident of history, and it will not repeat itself in the forthcoming election.
Lazeera News reports that Umahi stated this while inspecting the ongoing construction of Abaomoge/Akpoha/Afikpo road in Ebonyi state.
Umahi said he will work with Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru, to deliver 95% votes to Tinubu in the 2027 general election.
The Minister said no President can execute the magnitude of projects Tinubu is executing in the state and the entire South East, and challenge anyone who has done something for the region to prove it.
Umahi further stated that the state will run aggressive campaigns to secure Tinubu’s support and reward him for what he has done for the state.
