According to reports, former Emeka Ihedioha, who once served as governor of Imo State, has responded to allegations made against him by the Ohanaeze Youth Council. The reaction was shared via his official account

According to a report published by Sahara Reporters, the youth group alleged that Ihedioha joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC) with the intention of undermining key figures within the party, including former Anambra State governor Peter Obi.

The group further claimed that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and actor-turned-politician Kenneth Okonkwo were allegedly working behind the scenes in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Responding to these claims, Ihedioha dismissed the allegations and questioned their credibility. He emphasized that the public can distinguish between factual reporting and politically motivated narratives, suggesting that the accusations lack substance.

In his statement, he also used the opportunity to encourage broader political participation, particularly within the ADC, presenting the party as a platform for national transformation.

According to Emeka Ihedioha on his official X account:

“Nigerians know the difference between serious journalism and political fiction.

“I encourage you all to join our cause in the ADC. Indeed, a new Nigeria is possible”.
