In a recent video shared on Facebook on Friday, April 17, 2026, Niger Delta activist and traditional ruler, Asari Dokubo, spoke about wealth, philanthropy, and his contributions to education within his community.
Dokubo explained that although he may not be ranked among the wealthiest individuals in Kalabari, he has consistently supported students through financial assistance and educational funding. He emphasized that impact should not be measured solely by personal wealth but by contributions to society.
According to Dokubo, “I’m not among the 100 richest Kalabari people, but I pay over 100 million for students.” He made the statement while highlighting his commitment to supporting education and helping young people achieve their academic goals.
