Legal practitioner and ADC chieftain, Kenneth Okonkwo, has sparked a heated debate following his recent comments on the internal crisis rocking the party.
Speaking during a live interview on Channels Television, Okonkwo did not hold back his words regarding rumors of high-profile members planning to decamp.
The veteran actor specifically addressed the speculation surrounding Peter Obi’s future within the party. He warned that any aspirant who leaves the ADC at this critical time is simply a “mobile squatter” who lacks political stability.
“Any presidential aspirant in ADC who leaves for another party is working for Tinubu,” Okonkwo stated firmly. He explained that leaving the coalition now would only weaken the opposition and favor the current presidency.
Many Nigerians reacting to the news expressed a mix of shock and worry over the possible division within the party.
Some supporters are feeling uneasy, fearing that a split could destroy their hopes for a strong alternative in the next election.
For now, all eyes are on the party headquarters in Abuja to see how the leadership handles this growing tension.
