Obi Storms Katsina After Kaduna Visit
Share this:

Former presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has intensified his nationwide engagement efforts with a strategic visit to Katsina following an earlier stop in Kaduna, where he met with key stakeholders of his political movement.

During the Katsina meeting, Obi held discussions with prominent figures including Dr. Mustapha M. Inuwa and Lawal Musa Daura, focusing on strengthening party structures and addressing pressing national concerns.

During the engagement, Obi expressed deep sorrow over the recent wave of violent killings in Katsina State, describing the loss of innocent lives as both tragic and unacceptable. He stressed that the recurring security challenges highlight a critical failure that must be urgently addressed, noting that no nation can achieve meaningful development without guaranteeing the safety of its citizens.

According to him, protecting lives must remain the foremost responsibility of any government committed to progress.

Obi further used the opportunity to reiterate his vision for a better Nigeria, emphasizing the need for deliberate investments in youth and women as catalysts for sustainable development.

He called for a shift away from divisive politics rooted in ethnicity and religion, advocating instead for leadership based on merit, competence, and integrity. While acknowledging the enormity of Nigeria’s challenges, Obi maintained that with collective commitment and purposeful action, building a new and prosperous nation remains achievable.
