The Honourable Member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, Hon. Peter Udogalaya Aniekwe (Macpee), has flagged off the construction of a 2.5-kilometre road in Oroma Etiti Anam, Anambra West Local Government Area, amid widespread jubilation from constituents. The project marks a significant step in ongoing efforts to deliver impactful grassroots development and address long-standing infrastructural needs within the community.

Represented by his aide, Mr. Basil Okeke, Hon. Aniekwe highlighted the strategic importance of the Anissa Road project, noting that it will enhance agricultural productivity and improve access for farmers and traders. He explained that the road serves as a key link between Anam and Delta State, thereby strengthening economic activities and easing transportation challenges. He further reassured constituents of his commitment to inclusive development, urging patience as additional projects are being processed for approval and funding.

The Community leaders and stakeholders present commended the initiative, describing it as timely and transformative. The ADC Chairman, Mr. Jude Nwanegbo, and the President General of Oroma Etiti Anam, Chief Hon. Charles Nchezor, praised the lawmaker’s performance and visible achievements within a short period. Representatives of the construction firm also assured residents of quality and timely delivery, while the community pledged to provide the necessary support to ensure smooth execution.

Finally, the project is expected to significantly improve connectivity, stimulate economic growth, and enhance the overall quality of life for the people.
