Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) has once again produced a batch of highly trained medical doctors, as the institution celebrated the induction of its medical graduates into the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).

The induction ceremony, which marked the 12th of its kind, was a proud moment for the university, as it showcased the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and its dedication to producing highly skilled medical professionals.

In a statement, the university administration congratulated the new doctors, citing their discipline, resilience, and sacrifice as key qualities that have earned them their place in the medical profession. The administration also highlighted the institution’s guiding pillars – Values, Viability, and Visibility – as the foundation on which the new doctors have been trained.

“These new Doctors embody the Values that shape character, the Viability that guarantees competence and relevance in a dynamic world, and the Visibility that positions COOU as a rising force in medical education and national development,” the statement read.
