The ALOT movement founder when speaking to News agency said that
“What should have been a time of worship and reflection turned into a moment of grief, as innocent lives were lost in senseless violence”.
Akwaeze calls for urgent and comprehensive reform of Nigeria’s security framework because the repeated targeting of vulnerable communities underscores the need for proactive intelligence, swift response, and stronger protection for all citizens, regardless of faith or location.
As a matter of urgency, Nigeria must act decisively to restore public confidence and uphold the sanctity of life.
Finally, Justice must be pursued, perpetrators held accountable, and concrete steps taken to ensure that such tragedies never define our national story again.
