FCT Minister Nyesom Wike commended Rivers State House of Assembly members for their steadfast support of President Bola Tinubu “against all odds”. Wike said the lawmakers showed courage and loyalty, upholding democratic principles despite political pressures.
Wike faulted the Rivers State Government for withholding legislators’ entitlements, calling it unfair and undemocratic. He praised the Assembly members for remaining united and presenting him a car gift, symbolizing solidarity.
Wike urged the lawmakers to “stand for what is right” and work together to develop Rivers State. He said their stance proves their capacity to lead and is a beacon of trust in governance.
