“I’d Rather Lose with Integrity than Win with Bought Votes – ADC’s John Nwosu
….. Principles Over Power
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate, John Chuma Nwosu, has denounced the November 8 Anambra state election won by incumbent Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, calling it a “national embarrassment” marred by vote-buying and manipulation. Speaking at a post-election press conference, Nwosu said he wasn’t “desperate to win at all costs,” but wanted to “redefine governance and build a new Anambra” on values, transparency, and tech-driven security.
“This struggle continues. We will not surrender. We will not be silent,” Nwosu declared, vowing to keep pushing for change. He slammed the poll as a “ruse,” “marketplace,” and “shambolic election” where voters were “openly induced with cash,” denying Soludo a legitimate mandate. “The people have not spoken,” he added.
