Senator Tony Nwoye remarked in his opening Speech that he was moved to donate these Bales of Clothes after an Indigent CWO Elderly member approached him after he won his election as Senator-elect at St Michael’s Catholic Church Fegge Onitsha at a function and begged him to help her and others get this uniform of CWO so that they can always dress to a meeting like other women. The Senator said he was not aware that the Clothes were so important and dear to Mothers. He said, he was moved by the appeal of the elderly woman. That is why he procured them for them and warned that at no point will the uniforms be sold to any Christian Mother within the Senatorial District. He also extended the gestures to our Mothers in the Anglican Communion.

The Most Distinguished Senator urged Mothers not to be afraid to speak out against Poor Leadership and societal ills.

“Ndi Nne, are known to be agents of truth. Today, Mothers are afraid to speak out against Poor Leadership and the society is suffering from it. Kidnapping, ritual killings, armed robbery and quest to get rich quick have taken over our society. We need to rediscover that courage to effect real Change in Our Families, Societies, our Dear State, Anambra State and Nigeria and it is the Mothers that will champion it.

Receiving the wrappers, the Director CWO, Onitsha Archdiocese, Mrs Ngozi Nwanosike ,the Secretary CWO Aguleri Diocese Mrs Angela Ejike representative of Christian mothers from Anglican Communion Ogbaru Diocese, Mrs Uche Igwebuike prayed for senator Nwoye, even as they thanked him for the love he showed them.

Senator Nwoye also donated a Toyota Corolla car to one of his Constituents, a respected Community Leader and one time House of Assembly Member, Chief Ossy Chinwuba in appreciation for his steadfastness over the years and to help ease his movement within the Senatorial Zone.
