The influential woman inclusiveness in governance advocate and Senior Special Assistant to the Former Governor of Ekiti State, Mrs. Margaret Fagboyo PhD, inspired corps members in Ekiti State and participants during a public lecture organized by the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) on the theme, “Understanding the Special Seat Bills.”
The event served as an eye-opening session on the importance of inclusive governance and the need for greater participation of women and other underrepresented groups in politics and leadership.
Speaking at the lecture, Mrs. Fagboyo encouraged women to rise above envy, hatred, and the habit of belittling one another, stressing that unity among women remains vital in breaking barriers in governance. She explained that the Special Seat Bills are designed to create opportunities for broader representation, including women, youths, the elderly, and persons with disabilities, so that policies and decisions can truly reflect the interests of the larger society.
Appreciating Mrs. Fagboyo on her inspiration, kindness and jolly warm arm to Corp members, Corper Ogechukwu-Laz Akwaeze appreciated for the educating lecture and support to the Corp members, praying for God’s blessings, elevations and success in all endeavors.
