The Aniasa Road Project continues to make steady progress, even in the face of delayed federal funding, reflecting a strong commitment to improving connectivity and easing the daily struggles of residents.
Hon. Peter Aniekwe (Macpee), speaking to Lazeera News, revealed that the road alongside other expected projects has not yet received funding from the Federal Government. He noted, however, that he has appealed to the contractor handling the Aniasa project to continue work, with arrangements being explored to sustain construction using personal funds pending government intervention.
Importantly, despite the funding gap, work on the road remains a testament to resilience and a shared determination to deliver results for the people.
In conclusion, the project stands as a clear indication that with dedication and cooperation, progress can still be achieved while awaiting official support.
