Gospel minister Nathaniel Bassey has revealed the remarkable story of how divine guidance directed him to his wife, describing their union as a product of unmistakable spiritual confirmation. He explained that his wife had been on a month-long fast themed “Two Is Better Than One” when she felt a strong inner conviction that he was her destined partner.
Seeking clarity, she prayed for a specific sign from God. On the final day of the fast, during a scripture reading, the officiating pastor mistakenly said, “And Jesus saw Nathaniel standing under the fig tree,” instead of the actual verse. Shocked, he corrected himself—only to repeat the same error, giving her the confirmation she had asked for.
Pastor Bassey said this divine moment sealed their journey toward marriage, urging believers to trust God’s leading in life decisions. He referenced Psalm 119:105, reminding Christians that God’s word remains a guiding light in moments of uncertainty.
