In a bold stride towards sustainable community development, Hon. Peter Aniekwe, Member Representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, has extended the Light Up Anambra Project to Umueri Ward 2, where 20 brand-new solar-powered street lights have been successfully delivered.
The solar lights were officially received on behalf of the community by Chief Ekwenye, popularly known as Chyboss, who, alongside other stakeholders, has been overseeing their installation. Reports confirm that the lights are being speedily mounted at different strategic locations within the ward, as carefully agreed upon by the community leadership to maximize impact and reach.
Residents of Umueri Ward 2 expressed profound joy and gratitude, noting that the gesture marks a new dawn for their community. They believe that the project will not only improve security and ease night-time movements but also boost local business and social activities.
The Stakeholders of Umueri 2 commended Hon. Aniekwe’s commitment to grassroots development, describing the Light Up Anambra East and West Project as a practical example of leadership that prioritizes the welfare of the people.
As the installations continue, the project stands as a glowing symbol of Hon. Aniekwe’s vision to brighten every part of Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, literally and figuratively.
