Jamaica’s Oblique Seville delivered a stunning performance to win gold in the men’s 100m final at the World Athletics Championships, clocking 9.77 seconds.
His teammate Kishane Thompson ensured a Jamaican 1–2 finish by taking silver in 9.82s, while American star Noah Lyles clinched bronze in 9.89s.
Making history for Nigeria, Kanyinsola Ajayi became the first Nigerian sprinter in 18 years to compete in a World Championships 100m final, finishing 6th with 10.00s.
