The Federal Government has reaffirmed the President Bola Tinubu administration’s commitment to its core mandate of delivering meaningful reforms and real economic growth for all citizens.
The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, made this known in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.
Idris said that despite the noise from the coalition and opposition, Tinubu remains undeterred and is not distracted.
According to Idris, it is incontrovertible that Tinubu’s administration has affirmed the right of all Nigerians to exercise their constitutionally guaranteed freedoms of association and speech freely.
He added that the CNG vehicle conversions, as well as improved government services and infrastructure, are glaring for Nigerians to see.
He recalled that two weeks ago, Tinubu signed four groundbreaking tax reform bills into law, marking one of the most ambitious fiscal overhauls in Nigeria’s history.
He said that emerging coalitions and opposition political groupings do not want the sustained focus on the progress Nigeria is making, adding that the administration would not be drawn into distractions, engineered by those who would prefer stagnation over reform.
