The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, H.E Umo Eno has said that Kenneth Okonkwo, a lawyer and Nollywood actor is still “living in bondage”.
Eno said this while reacting to Okonkwo’s comment on the governor’s recent defection from the Peoples Democratic Party to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). The actor and member of the Labour Party during a television interview described Eno as ‘a transgenderic politician’ for moving from the opposition to the ruling party.
However, reacting to Okonkwo’s comment, Eno said Okonkwo should focus on issues that are of concern to him. Living in Bondage is the title of one of the first Nollywood movies Okonkwo starred in during his early days as an actor.
Eno further stated that the issue of his defection or political choices is an Akwa Ibom state matter and not something that should bother Okonkwo.
